It’s all about how off-the-hook you are and how extreme you can spend your free time. So, how about a selfie in space? Several companies have been trying to make that happen for you, including Virgin Galactic. The company would allow you to share the experience with Leonardo Di Caprio fir a minimum of $1.5 million, or just $200k for a “normal” flight.
The latest in space traveling comes from a company called World View, which offers passengers a trip in a fully-pressurized space capsule for six and an amazing veiw from 20 miles above earth. Luxuriously styled and engineered, the capsule will get you high – you know what I mean – with the help of a ParaWing and a high-altitude balloon, which expands gradually until the capsule reaches the top altitude at the limit of Earth’s atmosphere.
This actually sounds comfy and cozy, without that G thrust and without wasting a perfectly good breakfast. For $75,000 you World View provides you a seat, in-flight Internet access – you know, for Instagram, Facebook, whatever – and the experience of a lifetime. Please deposit $5,000 to book your flight, and expect take-off in late 2016. However, I didn’t hear anything about landing, though, so that might be reason for concern.
